We harvest our Rosita® Wild Seaweed in a remote location of Pentland Firth, in Northern Scotland, which has some of the highest water exchanges in the world. This ensures Rosita® Wild Seaweeds are cleaner and healthier plants than any other seaweed products.
Our seaweed is hand-picked during peak growing periods when the plants are in the best possible condition, allowing the plants to grow back to full sexual maturity. Individual plants are cut so that enough remains for regrowth and reproduction. The strictest regulation code is followed to ensure the local ecosystem is not disturbed.
Our Rosita® Wild Seaweed is third party tested, Soil Association Certified Organic, Scottish Natural Heritage Approved, and has received the PETA Farming Award. And Seaweed is on the Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) list by the FDA.
