EVCLO may become cloudy and thicken when exposed to lower temperatures for extended periods of time. This is no cause for concern and is a sign that the oil contains all of its natural nutrient-rich saturated fats.
Only oils that contain the full spectrum of omegas and fatty acids, like EVCLO, will become cloudy in the refrigerator. Note: saturated fats may also coagulate at cold temperatures (similar to coconut oil or butter). It is important to let the oil sit at room temperature for 10 minutes and to shake gently before taking, to redistribute all of the important fats.
Attached is a picture of oil that has coagulated fats floating in it. This is normal and just needs to warm a bit and be shaken.
